Dachshund Studio Photo Session

Despite a few scheduling difficulties, I was thrilled to be able to get together with Gus and Leo (both dachshunds) this past Saturday! Their mom brought plenty of props to get us in the Christmas spirit, and Gus & Leo were surprisingly willing participants for each new hat, sweater & collar combo!

Gus is the older boy; he’s 4 years old and has short brown hair. Leo is the puppy at one year old, a blonde longhaired dachshund – and I think he almost looks like a miniature golden retriever! Enjoy these few photos of both handsome boys!

Gus is very comfortable when he’s in dad Evan’s lap!

I showed Gus & Leo’s mom my new backdrop… and she loved it! So we took a bunch of photos with this fun, vintage-modern backdrop!

The boys couldn’t resist showing off for us.

Thanks for making the trip out from Panama City Beach, Emily & Evan! It was so much fun to meet you & the pups – I can’t wait to see you again soon!

If you’re looking for fabulous, you came to the right place.

Picture this: a vacation condo at one of America’s most popular beaches.

A bubbly, single woman who’s game for anything and all about having fun.

Two miniature poodles with fittingly proper names.

A photographer capturing them all relaxing at home and on the beach.

If it sounds like Hollywood and the posh life, I agree! And it’s the life Lucy & Beau (and their mom, Barb) actually get to enjoy! Check out the images in the video and the photos below. And then let’s grab cocktails and sit by the pool.

My loyal readers will remember this last combination of photos. I already posted it in the sneak peek, I know. But it’s so cute, I figured only one appearance didn’t do it justice!

Sneak Peek: Lucy & Beau ~ {Panama City, FL Pet Photography by Allison Shamrell}

I had the privilege of spending Thursday afternoon with these fun little poodles! Lucy is the red one and Beau (short for Beauregard) is the white one, and let me tell you what, these dogs are fun! Their owner and I could hardly stop laughing the entire session, because these pups are so people-friendly and eager to please. They’re only in Florida for a short time, so I’m glad I had the chance to meet these little guys before they head back to freezing cold Indiana. Enjoy the sneak peek!
