This Christmas break was a very special one for me. In addition to seeing lots of family and friends, and shuffling between parents as newlywed couples must, I was given (arguably) the best Christmas gift ever. Besides the chance to photograph Bo Obama.
I was given a press pass to the Portland Trailblazers game on Thursday, December 30th. So in addition to scoring the best seat in the house, I actually got back to my photography roots! You see, I wouldn’t be photographing all your lovely cats and dogs if it hadn’t been for my time at Notre Dame. I spent every possible day/night/afternoon on the baseline of the basketball court, on the sideline of the soccer field, and of course, behind the end zone in Notre Dame Stadium. And somewhere in between all those games, I realized that photography really makes me happy and it’s what I want to do with my life. So to be on the floor with a camera in my hands at another basketball game for the first time since I graduated was nothing short of fantastic. Here are just a few of the pictures I took- I’ve got dozens more, but this is a dog blog!! So here’s a little taste of my photographic upbringing, and an extra added bonus: this post is the only one that doesn’t contain any drool! :)
Boo Utah Jazz, boo! But thanks for the picture.
